What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent fibers that are attached to your natural lashes to make your lashes look longer, fuller, and darker. Individual extensions are applied to each of your natural lashes (one extension per natural lash) using a semi-permanent glue.
The material used varies from studio to studio, but eyelash extensions can be made of synthetic, mink, faux mink or silk. Most studios offer a variety of extension lengths, curls, and shades so customers can customize their look.
Types of eyelash extensions

Brow tinting is the process of using semi-permanent dyes to enhance, shape, and define your brows. Browning allows an expert to manipulate the brow area, by darkening the fine hairs that surround the circumference of the brow to increase width.
The dye is made from semi-permanent herbal or henna dyes, which are mixed to match your existing tones. This can be done in a salon or with a home kit. “It gives the appearance of thicker, more youthful brows,” adds Tummala. “We don’t darken the brows, we just match your natural color.
How long does it take in eyelash extensions?
An average session takes only about 15 minutes. First, you will consult with a specialist to determine the fullness and naturalness of the brows you want. Next, the specialist will prepare the eyebrow area, clean the eyebrows and apply a thin layer of mineral fat around the eyebrows to prevent yellowing of the skin.
The dye is then carefully mixed and applied, first in the direction of eyebrow growth, then a second coat in the opposite direction. The dye is left on for a few minutes to achieve optimal color, then use a damp paper towel to remove any excess. Don’t panic if you see dye on the skin under your eyebrows. It should go away in a day or two. You should schedule your first appointment on Friday. So you can follow up on results by the end of the week.
